Bestads: Best Outdoor

The NZ Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi), globally recognised for its award-winning road safety campaigns, had a run of unused media space in cinema foyers across the country.

The brief was to fill the spaces with standard road safety comms, but we took things a step further.

Using the locations to our advantage, we created animated road safety ads styled like pulpy, retro movie posters. The kind of work film lovers can’t help but stop and look at. They were ranked the best outdoor ads in the world that week by BestAdsOnTV.
